5 - AZIENDA AGRICOLA DIMOSTRATIVA I GIARDINI DI POMONA (AAP)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

AAP is part of Pomona APS (Social Association) a national association for the valorization of biodiversity - founded on November 8, 1993 in Milan following the 1992 Rio de Janeiro Conference and its main emanation: Agenda 21, which for the first time spoke about the great risks connected to the loss of biodiversity. AAP is a botanical collections including.many tree species (mainly Ficus carica and pomegranate). It is visited by more than 5000 persons per year.
AAP will participate mainly to task3.1 where 130 fig cultivars of the collection will be characterized at phenotypical level. Moreover AAP will be involved in WP4 (communication and dissemination)


KEY PERSONS
